How does it work?

VoIP

VoIP, otherwise known as internet phone calls or broadband phone, is a way of routing all your telephone calls over the internet. Provided you have a stable broadband connection with enough bandwidth to carry your internet phone calls the use of a VoIP phone system is cost effective. VoipInclusive have used VoIP as the basis for its innovative hosted internet phone service.

Hosting

With a normal telephone system, your calls are routed via an exchange box which sits somewhere in your office. With a VoIP system, the calls are routed via the web and the VoipInclusive server. Because of this you don’t need to worry about exchanges, maintenance or problems within the office. We manage everything for you. Hosting also enables us to offer free VoIP calls and a conference call facility.

Can it go wrong?

In theory, if the web or your local broad band goes down then yes your VoIP software will pause. However, this happens very infrequently and is no different from problems that sometimes occur with your local telephone exchange. With VoipInclusive you have the added benefit of your service being continuously monitored and in the unlikely event of your VoIP service going wrong our technical team get straight on to sorting it out.

What is a virtual switchboard?

Instead of calls coming in to a physical switchboard in your office, they are routed through a switchboard service on the VoipInclusive server. This has the same or better functionality than you would get with a physical switchboard but with none of the cost. Our virtual switchboard will let you set how you want your clients’ calls to be handled. This includes direct transfer to an extension, call forwarding, answerphone messages and call queuing. We can automatically switch out of hours services on and off for you and for a small extra payment can provide an operator service.

The added benefit of a virtual switchboard is that it doesn’t matter where you are. You can work from home one day and from the office the next and your clients won’t know the difference. When you move office you take your phone numbers with you.

Why do you offer a range of phone numbers?

VoipInclusive offers you one main phone number that your clients can use to phone you. However, we recognise that in this global age, sometimes clients like to deal with a local business. The VoipInclusive service therefore comes with added local numbers to help your advertising and phone directory strategy. For example, if you were based in Somerset you might want to use the local prefixes for Taunton and Yeovil and Bridgewater.

Are all my calls free?
